In San Diego, it is reported that a 69 year old man was hit by a Fed Ex delivery truck. Now, the man is in the hospital and receiving treatment for broken rips as well as a collapsed lung. Police say that the truck accident occurred yesterday at 9:35 AM.
While the man was walking across Federal Boulevard to 50th Street, he was struck by the driver of a Fed Ex vehicle. The driver had just exited the parking lot of a strip mall and failed to see the man, who had just entered the crosswalk. Despite his painful injuries, the man is expected to recover.
