One Killed and One Injured during Workplace Accident
In Oklahoma City, police say that a person was killed and another person sustained injuries during a crane accident on a construction site.
The accident took place on Tuesday night at the Chesapeake Energy Corp. campus, which is located in the northwest part of the city. This area has had ongoing construction, say authorities.
Oklahoma City police Lt. Don Holland told news sources that police are still investigating and could not immediately comment on what happened before the accident. Holland said that one worker who was taken to a nearby hospital did not have life-threatening injuries.
A spokesperson for Chesapeake Energy Corp. would not comment on the workplace accident.
