Two People Lose Lives in Auto Accident
After two cars struck each other head on near downtown San Diego, two individuals lost their lives.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a red Nissan Altima hit a Honda Civic sedan around 1:25 a.m. on Saturday morning. The circumstances of the accident are still under investigation, as the directions of travel and the cause of the accident are as yet unknown.
Only one of the victims identities has been released: the driver of the Nissan was 23-year-old Cassaundra Olivarria, who was transported to UCSD Medical Center but pronounced dead shortly after. The driver of Honda died at the scene of the car accident.
