Car Crashes into Diner
Several diners out for an afternoon meal were both lucky not to have sustained more serious injuries when a car drove through the front of the restaurant. When police arrived on the scene of the accident, they discovered a car that had been driven through the front of the diner.
The woman behind the wheel told officers that she mistook the gas pedal for the brake pedal and careened through the diner as a result. Three people were hurt in the auto accident while several others were in mild shock. Luckily, none of the victims suffered any injuries greater than scrapes and bruising.
At this time, the auto accident is still under investigation. Police did not find any evidence of drugs and/or alcohol at the scene. A quick inspection of the vehicle showed that it was also in complete working order.
