Celebrity's Son Sentenced for Drunk Driving Accident

In Hollywood, California, it seems as though celebrities are always avoiding criminal sentences. So, it came as a surprise to some that the son of a beloved actor was not able to get away with his crimes scott-free.

Earlier this year the man in question was driving his vehicle in California went he ran head-first into a passenger van. When officers arrived on the scene, they quickly determined that he was under the influence of drugs. Based on the evidence gathered at the scene and the results of his blood work, he decided to cop a deal with the prosecution. Results of the blood work showed evidence of Xanax, cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamines.

He pleaded guilty this week to being a felon in possession of a gun and DUI causing injury. In exchange, the charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and rock cocaine were dropped. However, he was also forced to admit to shooting into his ex-girlfriend's vehicle back in 1992.
