Motorcyclist Killed in Encino
Encino news sources report that 47-year-old Brian Persson went out for a ride on his bike last weekend and lost his life. Persson was riding along California Highway 47 near Lakeside he was unexpectedly involved in a motorcycle accident.
Officers responded to the scene of the collision in which Persson appeared to lose control of his bike on a left-turning curve. He was thrown from the motorcycle, causing neck injuries and
blunt-force head trauma. Despite being rushed to an area hospital, Persson could not be saved.
He leaves behind a wife, Karen, who is known for writing restaurant reviews for "The Columbian."
