Gathering of 200 Motorcyclists Leads to Crash
A gathering of 200 motorcyclists at a southern San Diego park turned sour when one motorcyclist hit another.
Police reports show that the accident happened around 2:30 p.m. in a Mount Hope neighborhood. The motorcycle accident was caused by a 40-year-old man was travelling 65 mph on his 2007 Yamaha motorcycle when he hit another biker attempting to park his bike. Although the report does not clarify which driver sustained which injuries, it is known that one man broke his leg and suffered major head injuries, while the other walked away with minor injuries.
At the time of the accident several motorcycle clubs had gathered at the park.
