21-Year-Old Female Victim of Fatal Car Accident
Officers in San Diego County are still investigating the car accident that took the life of a 21-year-old woman last week.
According to the autopsy reports, the coroner determined the cause of death to be blunt impact injuries to the head. This came as no surprise to the officers investigating the case who observed the wreckage of the car accident first hand. Eyewitness reports state that the woman, who was driving alone, stopped in lane number two on a busy highway for no apparent reason. She was then rear-ended by two vehicles traveling at or above the posted speed limit.
One of the vehicles that struck her was driven by an off-duty police officer. When he got out of his vehicle to assist her, however, he was struck by another car. This vehicle was being driven by an off-duty Border Patrol agent.
News sources say that the car accident was tragic for the family that suffered an unexpected loss that day.
