Teen Causes Major Auto Accident
Letting your teenager drive alone can be scary for any parent, but it can be horrifying to learn that your child caused serious injuries due to negligent driving.
That is the case of a family in Murrieta, California who learned that their 17-year-old son was speeding when he crashed, injuring two other teens. The local police department reported that the three were driving late Friday night when the vehicle crashed, ejecting a 16-year-old and a 13-year-old. Following the collision, the younger teen was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
While the car accident is still under investigation, a traffic accident reconstruction team believes that excessive speed is to blame for the crash. At this time, no charges have been filed against the teenage driver.
